The One by the Back Door - Original acrylic painting
$420
There was always a geranium somewhere.
In an old pot by the back door. Growing from a cutting someone gave you. Sitting on a windowsill. Somehow surviving despite receiving approximately zero attention.
The One by the Back Door is a little nod to those familiar flowers that seem to appear in the gardens we grew up around. A bright pink geranium sits against a soft buttery yellow background — simple, nostalgic and quietly lovely.
Part of The Gardens I Never Had, this piece is about the plants that become part of our memories without us ever really noticing.
Medium: Acrylic on board
